Hollywood Forever Cemetery Events in Los Angeles

Venue Information

Hollywood Forever Cemetery is not just a resting place for the departed; it is a vibrant cultural hub located in the heart of Los Angeles. Established in 1899, this historic cemetery has become a significant landmark, hosting various events throughout the year, including film screenings, concerts, and art exhibitions. The cemetery is known for its beautiful landscapes and iconic monuments, making it a unique venue for both solemn and celebratory gatherings.

The cemetery's annual events attract thousands of visitors, particularly during the summer months when outdoor movie nights are held. Ticket prices for these events typically range from $10 to $20, depending on the type of event and seating options. The venue is well-reviewed for its serene atmosphere and engaging programming, making it a popular choice for those seeking a distinctive experience in Los Angeles.

Seating Information

The seating arrangement at Hollywood Forever Cemetery varies depending on the event type. For outdoor film screenings, attendees often bring their own blankets or low chairs to enjoy the films under the stars. The best sections are typically located closer to the screen, providing an unobstructed view of the film. However, these spots can fill up quickly, so early arrival is recommended.

For concerts and live performances, seating may be more structured with designated areas. The sections near the stage offer an intimate experience but may come at a premium price. Conversely, areas further back provide a more relaxed atmosphere but may lack the same level of engagement with performers.

Parking Information

Parking at Hollywood Forever Cemetery can be challenging during major events due to high attendance. The best parking option is the lot located at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, which offers convenient access to the venue. Parking rates typically range from $10 to $15 depending on the event.

Additionally, street parking is available but can be limited and may require careful attention to signage to avoid fines. It is advisable to arrive early or consider using rideshare services to bypass parking concerns altogether. Visitors should avoid parking in nearby residential areas where restrictions are strictly enforced.
